Summary

When you use Internet Explorer 10, you may need to clear your browser cache to see Rich Text fields in an Attribute Category.

Symptoms

  • In Internet Explorer 10 when trying to enter data into an Attribute Category form, the Rich Text fields do not show up.

Workaround

Clear your Internet Explorer browser cache:

  1. Press F12.
  2. Now press Ctrl + R.
  3. When prompted "Are you sure you want to clear browser cache", choose Yes.

      The 'workaround' needs to be changed to a typical User instruction list. The one shown opens the Developers tools and will really confuse a general user (When I tried it, it didn't work anyway). The workaround should take them through the Tools (Alt + X) > Safety > Delete Browsing History instructions.

  2. What's the cause of this? Cached JS files?
