Proof Client is printing properly on two of the printers, but on one printer the files are shown as Held in the status bar.


Launch files through Pilot processes without errors. Once they appear in the Proof Server they are processed and then marked as printing. But they do not print.


  1. In the Esko Proof Client, right click on the file that is not printing and choose Cancel. The file will still be in the list for relaunching.
  2. Restart the Proof Server - right click on the Proof Server icon at the lower left corner of the task bar.
  3. Once Proof Server is restarted, launch Proof Client.
  4. Right click on the cancelled task in the list and choose Print.
