Solution

The cause for this problem is that Tomcat cannot run its HTTP on port 8081.

To resolve this issue:

  • Remove any Antivirus software from the WebCenter Web Server or force it not to take up port 8081.
  • Verify that Tomcat is listening to itself via port 8081 and has not been altered.
    1. On the WebServer, go to ..\Artios\WebCenter\WebServer\tomcat\conf\server.xml
    2. Tomcat listens to itself via port 8081, find it inside the configuration file and change it back to 8081 if edited.
    3. Change the port and restart the WebCenter Tomcat service.

In WebCenter 16.0, Tomcat will be allowed to list to itself via another port than 8081 and the annotation overview will still display.
