KB172017007: Automation Engine - Error when going to Container view

Summary

When going from Job to Container view in Automation Engine Pilot, the following error appears:

Could not retrieve the list of files.
The following system error was returned:
Read timed out(URL:file://backstage/WNR2010/Orders)

Symptoms

When going from Job to Container view in Automation Engine Pilot, it takes a long time and then the following error appears:

Solution

The problem is caused when a huge amount of Jobs are located below a single folder:

\\Computername\Sharename\orders\Jobid

Create a more split folder structure for the new jobs, see example below:

\\Computername\Sharename\customerid\Year\jobid

Workaround

Do a relocate Job with SmartNames for the old Jobs or delete the ones not needed anymore.
