Copy the EPL to the Esko Profiles folder (default location: x:\ProgramData\Esko\Esko Profiles\My Profiles, in case of custom location set during the installation, the path can be found using the Proof Client. Select an existing output device and under Media/Catalog... the information window will display the file path).
Create a new output device in the Proof Client.
Select the desired driver (EPSON SC-P70x0 CT or EPSON SC-P90x0 CT).
Enter the IP address.
Select the Esko EPL
Media > Ink Type > EPSON UltraChrome HDX (Violet)
Media > Media name > v14 Epson SureColor Px0x0CT_720x720_V.epl
Media > Calibration set > v14 Epson SureColor Px0x0CT_720x720_V.epl
Define the correct media settings: Media > Media Setting.
Create a new "Esko Proofing workflow".
Set the RIP resolution (Workflow > Speed) to High quality.
Proofer Profile Creation
Start the Color Engine Pilot.
Create a new proofer profile.
Select the Hi-Res (non_uniform, 3 inks +K) overprint chart in the Overprints tab.
Proof and measure the charts.
Create a Proofing device link
Select the press profile you want to use as reference (e.g. ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc).
Select the new custom created Epson SureColor P70x0 / P90x0 proofer profile.
Select Absolute Colorimetric as Rendering Intent.
Select Closest Color (Classic) as Gamut Mapping.
Select Minimal Black as Black Generation.
Save the device link.
Create a new Proofing Color Strategy and make sure the previously created device link is selected.
