Summary

In some situations, the WebCenter Workflow can be very slow in Google Chrome.

To try to resolve the issue, read the article below.

Symptoms

The following symptoms may occur:

  • The Workflow Editor is slow when panning around.
  • The Workflow Editor is slow in full screen mode.

Solution

The problem may be resolved by updating the graphics card drivers and/or turning off the hardware acceleration.

To disable the hardware acceleration in Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome and click the Customize and control Google Chrome  icon (top right). Now choose Settings from the menu.
  2. Click Show advanced settings... at the bottom of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the System section.
  4. Disable Use hardware acceleration when available.
  5. Restart Chrome.
  6. If this does not resolve the issue, use the steps above to enable the hardware acceleration again.
