Question

Can I enable the default displayed layers in executed standards?

Answer

No. This is a hard coded option that cannot be influenced via the Defaults.

After having run a standard, by default, only the Main Design layer is toggled on:

No matter which layers were toggled on in the standard template, you do can toggle on layers after having run the standard off course.

To find the standard template,

  1. Go to Defaults > Style catalog and Search for the standard.
  2. Double click to see its properties and note down the filename .ARD from the field filename).
  3. You will find the file in the folder InstLib (ArtiosCAD standards), ServerLib (customized standards but shared) or ClientLib (customized standards but only available on local client).

Important

An incorrect modification of values and parameters in the ArtiosCAD Defaults can cause critical problems that might lead to severe problems in the correct functioning of the program. Esko cannot guarantee the proper working of your ArtiosCAD installation due to an incorrect handling of parameters and settings. A reinstall might be mandatory in order to restore the original system state. For this reason, Esko recommends that you take regular backups of the ServerLib (Shared Defaults) folder, the database and the FileStore.

Please contact your local Esko Support team in case you need more advice related to backups.
