KB180978466: ArtiosCAD - Cannot save designs via mapped drive letter

Summary

When trying to save a design on the server, which is a mapped drive letter such as V:\, the following error occurs: "The path cannot be detected".

Symptoms

• When trying to save a design on the server, which is a mapped drive letter such as V:\, the following error occurs: "The path cannot be detected".
• In DataCenter Admin > Server > The mapped drive letter (for ex. V:\) appears as server. The resources also point to the server V:\
  

Solution

If ArtiosCAD cannot detect (anymore) this filestore location, most probably the filestore location (server host name) is not mapped to a letter.

1. Open Windows Explorer and go to Computer.
2. Check if the mapped drive letter is there and if so, check if the path is correct. If needed, create a mapped drive letter (Map network drive) that matches with the filestore sever path:
   
3. Do this for all workstations where this problem occurs.
