Summary

This hotfix addresses the following problems:

  • Check & Recalibrate (C&R) crashes when proceeding to the measure page.
  • Sending profiling charts triggers CMM on the ProofServer.
  • Error creating media set when restoring recalibration or using the Recalibrate with... function.
  • Inline C&R hangs at either 0% or 100%.

Symptoms

CEP-5814:

When closing the Check & Recalibrate window, the application crashes.

CEP-5863:

When the .cxf file contains inknames with an underscore in them, they are imported as spaces. This makes the inkbook unusable unless you go through and manually change the names of the inks.

CEP-5876:

Check & Recalibrate tool hangs at the initializing phase (0%).

Check & Recalibrate is stalling at 100%.

CEP-5633: Error: The Color Engine Pilot encountered an error while making a new Media Set for your device.

CEP-4876

  1. Do an off-line Check & Recalibrate (C&R) (without relinearization). The C&R tool will crash when you click Next to start measuring the printed chart. At the same time, the spectro becomes unavailable after the crash.
  2. Charts (both Profiling and Check & Recalibrate charts) printed via Color Engine Pilot don't have the "correct color" and Check & Recalibrate fails without any obvious reason because the charts are color managed on the proof server. This usually happens after a restart of the Esko ProofServer.
