Description

In the case something is wrong with the output from the DFS or CDI Merger, global support need as much information as possible. Very often global support or R&D needs to ask for more files because the problem cannot be reproduced.

To make this much easier the function "Save job for support" should be used. The Merger creates a zip file with all important files Esko needs to reproduce the problem.

Procedure

  1. Load the job with the issue.
  2. Click Save job for support in the Options drop down menu:
  3. A message box will appear where the path to the created zip files is shown:
  4. Send this zip file to the Esko support. All positioned images, xl-cut workflows, plate type information, drum type information and much more is saved.
