Summary

Exporting files from Multi-Viewer app in Cape Pack goes into a temp folder instead of the assigned private path.

Release date

Friday, September 22, 2017

Symptoms

  1. Open Cape Pack and create a pallet group.
  2. Edit the data and click Calculate Only.
  3. Save the Graphics Solution in the Multi-Viewer Graphics window.
  4. Export Information only (ASCII Solution info and XML) and CAPE report (create a PDF report) and save these into the private path that shows up automatically when saving.
  5. Go back to data input.
  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
  7. If you want to export the information now (as in step 4) the save location will automatically be a temp folder on the local drive even though the private path is still the same.

This problem appears for every person that wants to export into the private path.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
