KB196433213: i-cut Layout - Application Fails to Start

Summary

After installing i-cut Layout, it does not start up and gives a message that a DLL is missing.

Symptoms

After installing i-cut Layout, when trying to run the application it fails to start and gives an error message that the application cannot be started because ACQ_JPEG_CONSUMER.DLL (or some other DLL) is missing.

Solution

Check if any antivirus software is running. If it there is and if it is not an option to turn off the antivirus software, set an exception so that the folder ... Esko/bg_prog_signup_V161/bin_ix86/ is not scanned. The antivirus software is possibly removing the DLL (ACQ_JPEG_CONSUMER.DLL).
