Prerequisites - what do you need to use software with a subscription?

(tick) An Esko ID (account - your e-mail address). If you don't have an Esko ID yet, you can create one here.

(tick) A valid subscription assigned to your Esko ID.

  • You normally received a notification e-mail from your License Administrator when he/she assigned a subscription to you.
  • If you are also the Purchaser, a subscription is assigned to you automatically.

(tick) The Esko software installed on your computer, including the Esko Local License Manager.

How to sign in?

  1. Launch the software and you'll get a panel to choose your licensing method. Click I have an Esko ID to sign in and to use my Subscription.
  2. Fill in your Esko ID (e-mail address) and password and click Sign in.
  3. You're now signed in and you can start using the software.

If you don't get the panel at launch, you can also sign in as follows:

  • For ArtiosCAD, ArtPro+, Cape and Studio Toolkit: 
    • Go to the Help menu.
  • For plugins in Adobe® Illustrator®:
    • Go to Help > Esko > Subscriptions....
  • For plugins in Adobe® Photoshop®
    • Go to File > Automate > Esko Subscriptions....

 How to sign out?

  • For ArtiosCAD, ArtPro+, Cape and Studio Toolkit: 
    • Go to the Help menu and click Sign out....
  • For plugins in Adobe® Illustrator®:
    • Go to Help > Esko > Subscriptions... and click Sign out.
  • For plugins in Adobe® Photoshop®
    • Go to File > Automate > Esko Subscriptions... and click Sign out.

What if you forgot to sign out?

If you want to use your subscription on another computer, but you forgot to sign out, you need to do the following:

  1. Launch the software and you'll get a panel to choose your licensing method. Click I have an Esko ID to sign in and to use my Subscription.
  2. Fill in your Email address and password and click Sign in.
  3. You will now get a warning that your subscription is already in use on another computer. Check the Sign Out Remotely checkbox and click Sign in.
  4. You're now signed in and you can start using the software.
  5. We will remotely remove your subscription from the first computer.

How to activate a local subscription?
