Summary

Save Results to Excel generating duplicates when Excel is requested again from the same page when the previous request was still ongoing.

Symptoms

When generating Results to Excel from a Saved Search, the Excel has duplicate projects in it and the report is missing some projects in that case.

This only happens when the request to Save Search Result is executed twice from the same page. This can happen due to incorrect configuration of the proxy/browser which causes the request to be sent twice or because the user clicks twice. This causes WebCenter to start the generation of the Excel twice. The two identical requests to WebCenter can interfere and produce wrong Excel files.

This hotfix will prevent the identical requests from interfering with each other on the WebCenter side. Both (identical) requests will now generate correct (identical) Excels without duplicates.

If the root cause is a proxy mis-configuration, this should however still be fixed to prevent duplicate requests from reaching WebCenter. Having the proxy resubmit the request introduces unnecessary load on the server since the same Excel will be generated twice and one of the two Excels will simply be ignored.
