How to use a non Postscript printer with Automation Engine?
Customer purchased a PCL printer and installed as a Windows printer, not realizing that Automation Engine only outputs postscript.
Download Ghostscript software from the following location: https://www.ghostscript.com/download/gsdnld.html
AGPL license version is free. (Commercial license is required only if you are going to embed Ghostscript as part of a commercial software product.)
Install the Ghostscript software on Automation Engine Server, as this computer has sufficient CPU and RAM to cope with the extra requirements.
After configuring Ghostscript, the printer appeared as a Windows PS printer, and was recognized by Automation Engine Print task.
Performance may not be as good as a dedicated PS printer.
