Description

How do I back up my data so I don't lose my Export Presets, Mapping Rules, Marks and Substrates?

Procedure

On0 PC:

Browse to C:\ProgramData\Esko
Copy the following folders to a media different than the hard drive i-cut Layout Essential is installed on:
- Export Presets
- Mapping Rules
- Mark Sets
- Substrates

On Mac*:

Browse to: ...\Users\Shared\Esko
Copy the following folders to a media different than the hard drive i-cut Layout Essential is installed on:
- Export Presets
- Mapping Rules
- Mark Sets
- Substrates
- Preferences - ~/Library/Preferences/com.esko.i-cut Layout Essential.plist

Note

If you wish to move i-cut Layout Essential from one workstation to another, Mac or PC, copy the folders above from the old workstation to the new workstation

*macOS is only support to version 10.14 (Mojave)
