Roll-Fed Labels Workspace: Fixing output-related issues.

  • When creating output for an Esko DFE prior to 5.2.3 (no support for IDP level 2 JDF), the jobs always got a sequence suffix, even if there was only 1 printing frame.
  • The repeat length was truncated to 0.01 mm precision, possibly causing incorrect repeat lengths.
  • Issues with positioning blank on sheet (including potential problems with output not being centered).
  • Inserted empty labels were still containing graphics in case of products with device independent images as unlayered art.
  • Last row of a VDP step & repeat could be missing.
  • Lane distribution may be wrong when using empties.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
