You would like to setup a workflow ticket in which you add the Wait for Files ticket. When configuring this ticket, you notice that the File Type is not available in the list.

To get this solved you can work with Regular Expressions in the File Name Matches field.

As an example, consider a workflow where you want to wait until an .wav file or a .mp3 file is available.


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open your Wait for Files ticket.
  2. Enter the following Regular Expression in the File Name Matches field: .*\.wav|.*\.mp3@regex.
  3. Click Save.

    Will regex work like this in all text fields in the tickets?

    I've found these only work in text fields that state the word "matches", like the router allows you to. If it says "contains" or "begins with" that is generally a regex in itself and doesn't support thse kinds of inputs.
