KB89435353: PackEdge - Runtime Error when closing the Viewer Compare dialog

When using Compare (Menu > View) in PackEdge/ Plato, you receive a "Runtime java error" when closing the viewer.

Symptoms

When using Compare (Menu > View) in PackEdge/ Plato, you receive a "Runtime java error" when closing the viewer, but PackEdge remains open.This is not file dependent.

Solution

There is no solution.

Workaround

A "Run time java error" can only be caused by the Viewer Compare software because it's the only component written in Java inside PackEdge/ Plato. So, this will have no effect on PackEdge.

The error does not appear in PackEdge/ Plato14.0 (ALPHA) build 14052 any more.
