For a retail ready design using tear tape, how to make a tear-away animation?
Procedure
- Use tear lines to indicate where the tear happens and a tear tape special rule.
- Convert to 3D.
- Start the animation with the box open.
- Add frames to close the box.
- Click the Make tear-away animation button.
- Turn on Disappear at the end, so the tear strip will disappear after it is removed.
- Use the Make tear-away animation tool to tear away the other side.
- Play the animation.
