How to restore sheet templates between two i-cut Layout versions (e.g.: from old version i-cut Layout to new i-cut Layout version 12.1 installed on new system)?

Answer

The sheet templates are stored as .xml file with the custom name given while creating the sheet templates. These files can be found in the following folder:

• If you have common components installed, they are in C:\Esko\bg_data_custom_v010\dat\plate
• If no common components are installed, then they are in: C:\Esko\bg_data_signup_v010\custom_v010\dat\plate

Just copy the xml files to the corresponding plate folder.
