Summary

When trying to open a Document in the HTML5 Viewer, with a name containing only numbers and no extension, it does not proceed after the loading screen. This issue is fixed in WebCenter 14.1.1 and newer.

Symptoms

  • The HTML5 Viewer does not load, but the Java Viewer does.
  • All server checks (Troubleshooting Tool) pass as OK, including Web Server Static Content.

Solution

This issue is resolved in WebCenter 14.1.1 and newer.

Workaround

As a workaround, rename the files you wish to view so that they contain an extension.
