Summary
Server Variables are greyed out in the Insert Field of the Dynamic Marks Properties palette or Dynamic Panels window.
Symptoms
- License for Dynamic Marks/Panels is OK.
- Connection to the Automation Engine Server via Automation Engine Pilot is OK.
- Server Variables are greyed out.
- The Preferences > Esko > Server Connection Assistant menu entry is missing or no connection to Automation Engine is configured.
Solution
Configure connection to Automation Engine in Server Connection Assistant. If the menu entry is missing, you need to download and install Shuttle from mysoftware.esko.com.
After this installation, upgrade Dynamic Marks and Panels can access the Server Variables.
