Summary

Gang Run Printing: In very specific circumstances, it may happen that a layout gets through because it contains more elements rather than having a better fill percentage.

Symptoms

It may happen that Gang Run Printing will not produce output when other files are present.

For example, : Files A and B are known to nest properly at 90% fill. The nesting settings for a given queue have a minimum fill of 89%. Files A and B are in the queue, along with other files, but will not output. When the other files are removed OR when the output is forced through the queue, Files A and B nest properly. Customer wants them to nest automatically.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
