Describes the steps to install the Eye-One and the Eye-One iO drivers on Windows 2008.

Procedure

How to install the Eye-One drivers:

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware: > View devices and printers.
2. In the Unspecified (x) section, right-click the eye-one device and select Properties.
3. Click Hardware tab > Properties button.
4. Go to the General tab and click the Update Driver... button. It might be needed to first click the Change settings button.
   The Update Driver Software - eye-one dialog box opens.
5. Click the Browse my computer for driver software button.
6. Browse to the drivers on the Esko Suite DVD:
   \\Extra\Spectrophotometer_Drivers\x32\Eye-One
\\Extra\Spectrophotometer_Drivers\x64\Eye-One
7. Click the Next button.
8. In the Windows Security dialog box, click the Install button.
9. Close the Update Drivers Software - i1 Pro dialog box.
10. Close the i1 Pro Properties dialog box.
11. Click the OK button to close the eye-one Properties dialog box.

How to install the Eye-One iO drivers:

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware: > View devices and printers.
2. In the Unspecified (x) section, right-click the General Purpose USB Hub device and select Properties.
3. In the Hardware tab, select the Eye-One iO device and click the Properties button.
4. Go to the General tab and click the Update Driver... button. It might be needed to first click the Change settings button.
   The Update Driver Software - Eye-One iO dialog box opens.
5. Click the Browse my computer for driver software button.
6. Browse to the drivers on the Esko Suite DVD:
   \\Extra\Spectrophotometer_Drivers\x32\Eye-One IO drivers
\\Extra\Spectrophotometer_Drivers\x64\Eye-One IO drivers
7. Click the Next button.
8. In the Windows Security dialog box, click the Install button.
9. Close the Update Drivers Software - i1 iO dialog box.
10. Close the i1 iO Properties dialog box.
11. Click the OK button to close the eye-one Properties dialog box.
