After trapping a file in Adobe® Illustrator® with DeskPack PowerTrapper Client, when double-clicking the task to open the file, nothing happens (or the temp folder on the DeskPack container gets opened in the Finder).
After launching a trap task on a file, the file traps and you get a green check mark indicating that the file has been trapped successfully. But when double-clicking the completed task to open the file, nothing happens and you get no errors.
First, make sure your DeskPack plug-ins version matches the version of Automation Engine Server you are connecting to.
If the versions match, then try this:
Close Adobe® Illustrator®.
Check if your file name and the name(s) of the folder(s) your file is saved has any non-alphanumeric characters. If you find any, remove them.
Re-open the file in Adobe® Illustrator® and try trapping it again.
Check whether the Automation Engine container is mounted on your mac in the same way as it is configured in the Automation Engine Pilot. If the container uses an IP address, then the mount on your mac should connect via the IP address as well.
