Summary

CIP3 output could become clipped/ stretched when rotating the job onto non-rotated plates for CIPress setting Position Film.

If you don't rotate the job while ripping or you rotate the plate sizes (in the CIPress application) along with the job, then the problem does not appear.

Symptoms

When making a CIP3 file with FlexRip (InkPlanner) and rotating the job, the CIP3 preview images can look stretched and/ or cut off. This results in incorrect CIP3 files and possibly wrong ink key values on the press.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
