Description

When individual objects are part of a transparency group it can be difficult to isolate the object groups to confirm or edit the overprint or transparency attributes. This procedure can help to isolate those object groups by using the 'Locate Object' option from PackEdge Layer Browser.

Procedure

1. Select an object in the artwork.
2. In the Layers palette, select Locate Object from the flyout menu. This adds the selection dot next to the object in the hierarchical list. From here, we can see the parent group layer of the selected child object. 
3. Select the parent layer group from the layer list. Now, the Style menu will reveal the attributes applied to the group's objects.

You may now adjust the settings as needed.
