Problem
In the Task Manager, the dllhost process has high CPU load. CDI computer reacts very slowly.
Solution
Windows tries to create an image preview (thumbnail) for the 1-Bit TIF files. Due the large file size, this can take up to one hour per image.
To disable the thumbnail generation follow the steps bellow:
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Go to Tools > click Folder options to open it (if not visible, press ALT once).
- Check the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox.
- Clear the Show preview handlers in preview pane checkbox.
