Summary

FlexRip Installation fails with the error message: "No license available to continue installation".

Solution

The Installer checks for the license in the computer that is defined in License Client configuration.

If you have activated the license on Automation Engine Server and the license client on FlexRip is configured to check the license on "local host", the installation will fail to install the components.

Perform the following operation on the computer where you are installing FlexRip:

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Esko > System Controller > License Client configuration.
  2. Enter the name of the computer where the FlexRip license is actually activated.
  3. Re-run the installer. It will find the license and proceed with installing the components.
