Question

When launching Plato or PackEdge, the following message appears:

The following licenses can not be activated because they are not purchased or because no floating 
license is available:

 PanotoneLIVE
 PowerStepper
 PowerOptimizer
 PowerTrapper
 Instant Trapper
 Staggered Cutting

To manage the licenses for this workstation choose: Edit > Preferences > Licenses tab sheet.

What does this message really mean?

Answer

Both PackEdge and Plato have optional licenses that can be purchased. This message is simply saying the licenses listed are not a license that has been purchased or activated (if purchased).

This message normally appears when PackEdge or Plato is installed and the application is launched for the first time. If the checkbox at the bottom of the window is checked, the message will not appear again.
