Summary
On Windows 7 or newer computers, it is possible that ArtiosCAD users could unexpectedly encounter the screen becoming transparent (all running applications only show the outlines of their window frames).
Symptoms
This occurs when the cursor hovers over the Show desktop area in the lower right of the screen display or cursor location is otherwise automatically reset to this location by the Windows operating system.
Solution
- This Windows feature can be disabled and the inconvenience to ArtiosCAD users can be avoided if the Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop checkbox is unchecked.
- To access this checkbox, click Properties in the contextual menu of the taskbar area opening the dialog shown below:
