Summary

When opening Automation Engine Viewer, the following error appears: "No active View Assistants".

Symptoms

"No active View Servers / View assistants found" message pops up on screen. The same message appears in the bgmd log file.

Solution

Problem can be caused by the Load server not running on Automation Engine:

  1. Check if Load.exe is running in the TaskManager.
  2. If not restart the Automation Engine with Server Admin.

If not okay, Automation Engine Server can be in the configuration phase. Perform the next step to put it back in running mode:

    1. Do Activate Server in Server Admin.
