Description
While starting the CDI, the following warning is displayed:
Pressing ENTER will continue the startup of the computer.
Common causes
A DVD or CD is still in the DVD drive. Due to the UEFI-Bios the following warning is displayed:
The system found unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers. Press [OK] to run the next boot device, or enter directly to BIOS Setup if there are no other boot devices installed. Go to BIOS Setup > Advanced > Boot and change the current boot device into other secured boot devices.
Troubleshooting steps
In the BIOS, some settings need to be changed. Press DEL in the Boot screen to enter the BIOS:
- Click Boot.
- Scroll down to Boot Option Priorities.
- Set Boot Option #2 to Disabled.
- Click Secure Boot.
- Set OS Type to Other OS.
- Click Exit > Save Changes and Reset.
