KB171011535: Webcenter - HTML5 Viewer stuck on loading screen (numeric file without extension)

Summary

When trying to open a Document in the HTML5 Viewer, with a name containing only numbers and no extension, it does not proceed after the loading screen. This issue is fixed in WebCenter 14.1.1 and newer.

Symptoms

The HTML5 Viewer does not load, but the Java Viewer does.
All server checks (Troubleshooting Tool) pass as OK, including Web Server Static Content.

Solution

This issue is resolved in WebCenter 14.1.1 and newer.

Workaround

As a workaround, rename the files you wish to view so that they contain an extension.
