KB92180958: DeskPack - Flexo Tools 10.0 plugins won't showup in Photoshop® CS5 after the installation

Solution

You will face such issue If you are running Photoshop^® CS5 in 64 bit mode.

DeskPack Plugins for Adobe^® Photoshop^® 10.0 is not supported on 64 bit application. Support for 64-bit application starts from DeskPack Plugins for Adobe^® Photoshop^® 12.0.

During the installation of Flexo Tools 10.0 plugin, It warns to run Photoshop^® CS5 in 32 bit mode for the Flexo Tools plugin to work.

To change compatibility mode to 32 bit, do as follows:

1. On your MAC, go to Applications > Adobe^® Photoshop^® CS5 > Adobe^® Photoshop^® CS5 > right click on the application to open the contextual menu and click Get Info.
2. In the Application Info window, enable the Open in 32-bit mode checkbox and launch Photoshop^® to see installed DeskPack Plugins for Adobe^® Photoshop^®.
