Summary

When trying to open a file from a resource, the following error pops up:

Symptoms

  • When trying to open a file from a resource, the following error pops up:
    "[Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQL Server] Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'WHERE';  dispatch error #3092".
  • When you click OK, the file opens.
  • The error can pop up on one workstation, doesn't have to be on all workstations in a client-server configuration.

Solution

  1. On the concerned workstation(s), go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools >
    1. Data Sources 32 bit (ODBC) in case of a 64 bit OS
    2. Data Sources (ODBC) in case of a 32 bit OS
  2. Go to the System DSN tab > ArtiosCAD > Configure.
  3. Check if the Server name and instance are correct and click Next.
  4. Fill in the SQL user programmer and its password.
  5. Make sure the default database is ArtiosCADdb
  6. Make sure the set language is English:

    In case the error also pops up on the other clients and on the database server after above changes have been implemented, the cause might be related to the database itself. Therefore, you should contact your local Esko support team.
