Description

This article describes how you can activate the required tasks after purchasing Automated Quality Control.

Procedure

Request the license

  1. Go to Automation Engine
    1. Start the Pilot.
    2. Go to Tools > Configure > Global Vision.
  2. Copy your Registration ID
  3. Go to https://esko.globalvisioninc.com/
  4. Choose I already purchased a license through Esko.
  5. Choose Create an Account.
  6. Fill in your details:
    1. Esko order number

    2. Esko company code

    3. Server name: choose a name to identify your server (this doesn't need to be the computer name)
    4. Registration ID: this is the ID you just copied from within Automation Engine
  7. You will receive an e-mail from Esko with your license ID shortly.

Why do you need to create a new account?

With this account you will be able to monitor the number of inspections that you have done. The system will also send information via e-mail in case you are close to reach the maximum number of inspections for that month.

Activate the license

  1. Go to Automation Engine
    1. Start the Pilot.
    2. Go to Tools > Configure > Global Vision.
  2. Copy your license ID.
  3. You're all set!

Follow-up on your usage

  1. Go to https://esko.globalvisioninc.com/ and log in.
  2. Go to My Servers.
  3. Per server, you can see:
    1. Your registrationID and license ID.
    2. The expiry date of your subscription.
    3. The amount of inspections used per month and the maximum amount allowed.

Try it out first

You can also do a trial before purchasing the Automated Quality Control tasks:

  1. Go to https://esko.globalvisioninc.com/
  2. Choose I want to create an account to purchase a subscription plan.
  3. Fill in your details and click Create account.
  4. Select the Starter plan.

This allows you to do 100 inspections within one month.

What if your trial has expired too early?

Your trial expires the first of the month. If you only started your trial by the end of the month, you can ask for an extension to info@globalvisioninc.com
