After updating to macOS 10.13.4, you get the following warning message:
ArtPro may affect the performance of your Mac.
The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its compatibility.
What does this message mean?
This warning from macOS appears because ArtPro is a 32-bit application. Please note that, despite this message, ArtPro still works the same as before. In fact, Apple has promised that High Sierra (macOS 10.13.x) will support 32-bit applications "without compromises". However, Apple has also clearly indicated that it will not support 32-bit applications indefinitely, so this message is an advance notice.
We will release a 64-bit ArtPro 18.0 in November 2018, so you will be able to run ArtPro on future versions of macOS in the years to come.
Still, the future of ArtPro is ArtPro+ (which is already a 64-bit application). With every new update, this hyper-modern packaging editor is gaining new capabilities. Numerous ArtPro users have already migrated to ArtPro+ to benefit from its unique clean task-driven user interface, blazing performance and support for your ArtPro files. To allow you to complete migration to ArtPro+ at your own pace, we will continue to support ArtPro and PackEdge.
