KB252159305: Pack Proof - How to create a progressive proof (also called "color keys")?

Description

This KB article describes how to create a progressive proof which is basically a separated colored proof.

Procedure

1. Create a hotfolder accessible by the Automation Engine and Proof Server.
2. Create an Automation Engine workflow existing out of the Image to Unscreened Proof ticket and the Create Wrapper File ticket
   1. Go to the Output tab of the Image to Unscreened Proof ticket and use the following SmartNames for the File Name option: file_inkname.
   2. Set the File Assembly option in the Output tab of the Image to Unscreened Proof ticket to "1 File Per Separation".
3. Select the hotfolder created in step 1 as output for the Create Wrapper File ticket.
4. Create a new proof server workflow and stop the in and output (a hotfolder can’t be defined when the workflow is active).
5. Select the workflow and go to the File tab of the property inspector.
6. Choose the hotfolder location.
   

7. Manage the files in the Hotfolder by using the Automatically after printing and the Delete source files from hotfolder options.
