KB226394905: WebCenter - When adding attributes with a translated label in the attribute category or task type specifications, the labels are not translated

Summary

Attributes are created with Labels mentioned in it.

The same attribute is added to Task Type , in Specifications tab and when checked in the display part at the bottom of the page, it does not display the Label name but displays the original Attribute name.

1. Create an Attribute with label name mentioned and with Task Specification option enabled.
2. Go to Task Type Specifications or Attribute Category and try to add the created attribute and check if the label name is as it was mentioned while creating the attribute.

Symptoms

When adding attributes with a translated label in the attribute category or task type specifications, the labels are not translated right away. Only after a save the changes are updated.

Solution

The issue is resolved in version 18.1 and there is a workaround to fix this issue.

Workaround

The labels are translated as soon as the attribute category / task type is saved after adding attributes with a translated label in the attribute category or task type specifications.
