When ripping a file in Nexus PS RIP or Nexus PDF RIP, you get the following error: "Undefined - Screening Folder not found - PCC Screening".
Procedure
This message is quite straight forward and can appear for the following reasons:
the PCC Screening folder cannot be found within the Nexus application folder
the alias to the PCC Screening isn't named correctly
there is no Read access to this folder
there is simply no PCC Screening folder available
The PCC Screening folder can not be found within the Nexus application folder
If the PCC Screening folder is always placed within the Nexus application folder, then it is possible this is forgotten after an upgrade to a newer version. Simply copy the PCC Screening folder from the previous Nexus folder into the current Nexus folder.
PCC Screening
We recommend to keep the PCC Screening folder outside the Nexus folder and to work with aliases instead, as this folder is more than 3 GB it takes a lot of space when copying and pasting this folder each time you upgrade Nexus.
The alias to the PCC Screening isn't named correctly
When creating an alias to the PCC Screening folder, you need to make sure that after moving the alias to the Nexus folder it is renamed to PCC Screening and not:
PCC Screening alias
or 'PCC Screening'
There is no Read access to this folder
Make sure there is Read access on the PCC Screening folder or on the Share where it is located.
There is simply no PCC Screening folder available
Copy the content from the PCC Screening DVDs onto your Nexus server. If you don't have the DVDs, contact Customer Support.
