Summary

Getting this error when trying to save a .zae after combining several pieces:

Failed to export file: /Users/dlgibson/Desktop/a4379-1.zae

The I/O operation failed.

Symptoms

After combining several different .dae or .zae files in Studio Toolkit, you are able to save the file incrementally. When you try to save the file again, you get the above error. You can open your last saved file but when you import another .zae or .dae and try to save, you get the error again.

Solution

The problem is the file which has become corrupt. This could be for various reasons like, bad network access when writing to network drive, a hiccup of the OS when writing to local drive, etc.

The only solution is to rebuild the file from scratch.
