KB85657124: Automation Engine - When opening Pilot, the message "The following exception occurred while trying to retrieve the existing filters" appears

Summary

The following error appears when opening Automation Engine Pilot:

"The following exception occurred while trying to retrieve the existing filters: java.lang.RuntimeException:JobServer:Read timed out."

Symptoms

When opening Pilot, the message "The following exception occurred while trying to retrieve the existing filters: java.lang.RuntimeException:JobServer:Read timed out." appears.

In the BGMD log files the following message is recorded:

"Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.barco.bg.core.server.bgtypes.BG_TBGTypes".

Solution

Some files are missing from the Automation Engine Server software.

Do a repair of the Automation Engine Server part only.

1. Insert Automation Engines DVD in drive.
2. Click Software Installation.
3. Click Repair.
4. Click Repair/Re-install installed Automation Engine components and select Automation Engine 12.x only.
   
5. Problem should be solved.
