KB87198590: Color Engine Pilot - Error: "The Color Engine Pilot could not import example.fp. The archive type is not supported."

Summary

When importing a file (Color Strategy, Ink Book, etc.) by dropping it down on the Color Engine Pilot icon, you get the following error message: "The Color Engine Pilot could not import example.fp. The archive type is not supported".

Solution

This file was saved with Color Engine Pilot's 13.x version delivered with a DFE. 
It is not possible to import files from Color Engine Pilot 13.x into a “classic” Color Engine Pilot (including Suite 14).

Lower level items can be transferred. So if you want to export/import profiles and inkbooks, it is possible with the help of these separate .fp files.
