Summary

Deep Copy does not maintain document reference order.

Symptoms

When deep copying documents with child document references, the order of the child document references is not always maintained.

Have a Document A with an attribute category that is referencing other (child) documents (at least 3 documents in one document reference attribute) in a "library" project.

Deep copy the Document A to another Project B using a project/document attribute category with an accordingly configured Saved search document source.

Expand the attribute category of the deep copied Document A in Project B and check the order of the document rows representing the child documents of Document A.

You will see that (often) the order is not maintained.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
