Description

To apply multiple dot gain curves in a job, you can create a curve strategy (.ICPRO file).

A curve strategy is created in Curve Pilot as a combination of various single curves.

In the strategy you can specify that a different curve has to be applied for a certain ink (C, M, Y, K, spot color), line work, images or based on certain screen settings (lpi, dot shape and angle). You can also specify a combination of these criteria.

To learn how to create a curve strategy with Curve Pilot, we have prepared an e-learning module.

The modules will explain:

  • How to create a new curve strategy
  • Which criteria can be used
  • How to use a combination of the criteria
