Do I have to use a 64-bit Database Server with WebCenter 14?

Answer

WebCenter 14.0 software is ONLY compatible with a 64-bit operating system (Windows Server 2008, 20008r2 and 2012). A 64-bit OS is required for the WebCenter installation part.

However, if you have a dedicated Database Server (where nothing needs to be installed from WebCenter), then the system requirements depend on the requirements of MS SQL or Oracle (10g for upgrade only and from 11g for new installs). This means you could use a 32-bit system to solely host your Database.
