How can I generate a report of the designs created during a certain time period?

Answer

The easiest way to do this is to use the Search and the Report features of the ArtiosCAD Design Browser.

1. Start the ArtiosCAD Design Browser and click the Search button.
   
2. Using the Search dialog, you can configure a Search Criteria that returns the designs created within a certain time period:
   
3. In this case, it is best to search for the Design/Revision Date, which is the date that the design was first created.
4. The How drop-down menu will allow you to specify an exact date (Equals), an After date, a Before date, or a date range (Is Between).
5. Click the Search button to search the database for the designs that match this criteria and return only these back to the Design Browser. At this point you can run a Design Browser Report to create the report file. Be sure to have the Use All Records Selection option turned on.
