KB159846823: PowerTrapper Client - Extra Trap Layer

Summary

When opening a trapped file from the Shuttle, the trap layer is duplicated.

Symptoms

1. Trap a file in Adobe^® Illustrator^® using DeskPack PowerTrapper Client.
2. When the task is complete, double click the task in the Shuttle window to open the trapped file.
3. Save and close the file.
4. Go back to the Shuttle window and double click the same trapped file.
5. When the file is opened, the existing trap layer is duplicated.

Solution

This is not a correct workflow.

After you open a trapped file in the Shuttle window and save the file, open the saved file. Otherwise, the traps will be applied repeatedly.
